[It's been a while since Roji updated his journal. Within the last couple of months, so much has been going through his head, he hasn't been quite sure what to say. So since it's the new cycle, he figures he'll address that for now.]

Time really flies, doesn't it? Even in Luceti. It's hard to believe I've already been here for two months. To all of the New Feathers: welcome to Luceti. [It's weird calling others New Feathers, since he was just one until now.] I know the whole situation is strange, but I hope you can manage to get settled in alright.

[In the meantime, Roji will be waiting to see if anyone from his world shows up this cycle. His hopes are high.

There's a pause as he considers asking a question he's been meaning to ask for a while. He decides to go with it. He's too curious about this to wait any longer.]

And on a completely different note, I have a somewhat random question for anyone who's listening. What are ghosts like in your world?

[As for the action bit, after Roji closes his journal, he's going to be going around his building for a bit. He realized he hasn't gotten around to really introducing himself to his neighbors. So anyone in Community Housing 7 will be hearing a knock on their door from Roji, who will be carrying a baked good of some sort.]

The ghosts in my world are pretty strange, at least the mean ones are. Like there are these crying ladies and they have this giant eye in their back!

That sounds really creepy. [Something Roji definitely wouldn't want to fight.] So are they all humanoid?

It was, especially since you could only hear their crying before they attacked. [Makes him shudder just remembering it] Well not all of the ghosts...the jellyfish looking ones definitely aren't.

Hmmm, how about ghost stories? Urban legends? They actually end up being true sometimes.

But to answer your question, there are different types of ghosts, like I mentioned to you before, but they vary in actual form. Sometimes they're humanoid, sometimes they have a complete human form. And sometimes they're really abstract or look take the form of the inanimate objects they can possess. There are animal spirits too.

[Roji is all smiles.] Hello, Mister Helios! I'm introducing myself to the other residents in the building. Though I guess we know each other already...

[He holds up said baked goods. Probably brownies or little cakes.] Still, I didn't want anyone to go without a gift.

What a wonderful idea! Have you met many people then? I have to admit I'm still not sure myself who exactly lives here. I was thinking about a community building dinner. But I'm not sure how well anyone else would take it. [ Hmm.

Helios' eyebrows raise at those treats. ] Oh you don't have to do that! They do look delicious though.

[Ginia is sitting on her bed in room 15, compiling and organizing her notes, when a knock comes at the door. She wasn't expecting any company, but she had given her number out to a few people and there were others in the building so it wasn't that big a deal. She quickly gets up and answers the front door with a friendly smile.

They may not know each other, but he comes bearing baked goods so this is a good start.]

Hello! I hope I'm not intruding on anything, but I wanted to go around the building and introduce myself to everyone. Get to know the other residents, you know?

[Ginia shakes her head and steps aside to let him in. There's not much in the (currently unshared) living space; a bookshelf with a few books, a table and three chairs, a small cabinet. Functional, if a little bland.

She gestures over at the chairs, inviting him to take a seat, as she pulls a small notepad and pencil out of her pocket and quickly writes a message to show him.]

That's very nice of you to do so. I'm Ginia, one of the New Feathers that arrived on this cycle. Please make yourself comfortable.

Is it? [pause] Actually, you're probably right there. I'm sorry, I was just curious after hearing about friendly ghosts from someone I talked to here. I dealt with ghosts on a daily basis back home, so I tend to talk about them a lot. They are mostly the scary ones, though...

Eh..? Someone told you there are friendly ghosts?

... Hmm, I can't say I've seen a real ghost before, but from what I've heard they seem really scary..

Most people don't believe in them in my world, but I met the ghost of an old army buddy once and he helped me escape the ship I was going to drown in.

Even if it was just something in my head, it still helped even physically.

[That story actually surprises Roji. Of course he's heard of ghosts helping the living. One who had recently turned saved his life. But it's still rather rare in his world.]

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it wasn't either. Parker was one of my best friends in the army and he wanted me to pass a message on, so I think it was something like that, you know?
