Erm...is this thing recording? I didn't think making an actual post would be this hard...

[He taps on the journal before gasping.] Oh, it is! Great! Um...hi there. I've been here for a couple days, but I just now got all settled in. Now I can finally introduce myself. Sorry for taking so long!

[There's a bit of tension in his voice. Even though he's been in Luceti for about a week, it's obvious that he's still a little shaken up from shock of being torn out of his own world. He can't help but worry.] I'm Jiro Kusano, but you can call me Roji! I'm from Earth, and I help manage a bureau for supernatural investigation with my boss back home. It's nice to meet you all.

Oh yeah! I wanted to ask something. Is it...is it true that stuff in the stores here is free? [His voice is much more excited now.] I went to buy some groceries and the clerk there said it was free! Er, I'm kind of a fan of cooking, but I don't get the chance to experiment with a lot of stuff because of my...situation back home. Being able to get supplies without trouble is amazing.

[As he's about to shut off the journal, he remembers the most important thing he wanted to bring up.] Actually, I have a request too. If anyone knows of someone named Toru Muhyo, could you let me know? I really hope he's here...

What sorts of supernatural things have you investigated so far?

[ You have him curious. ] Luceti is a bit odd like that. Takes a little while getting used to! Everything being free I mean a-and Luceti as a whole.

We specialize in ghosts. We're hired to take care of ghosts that are terrorizing our clients.

I have to admit, the hardest think to get used to for me is all the worlds that are represented here! Then there's the wings... [He laughs awkwardly at that. Oh, the troubles he's been having fitting his wings into his other clothes.]

Ghosts, really? That's fascinating, and you can actually see and talk to them? Spirits are known for being, well, hard to communicate with.

Ah yes! It's all a bit hard to take in at first. But you'll find everyone here to be rather welcoming; coming from different worlds, or not, we're pretty much all in the same boat! [ A laugh on his end. ]

Yes the wings...those definately take some getting used to. You'll find scissors to be a very valuable item.

Mhmm! Well, communication's kinda tricky, yes. Whether the ghost can talk or not depends on how powerful they are. The talking ones are always the more dangerous ones.

You're right about that. I'm very thankful for the warm welcome. And that party sounds like fun too!

Oh, really? I'm sorry to hear that. I-I suppose most of them are dangerous, then? [ Just a slight frown on his end. ] Ghosts do have a lovely habit of being pranksters at times but never really anything dangerous. At least in my world. [ A sigh. Especially at his school. Ghost kids never know what they'll do next. ]

Ah so you're going to the new feather party? It's very nice I think you'll enjoy it! And scissors...for your clothes. To makes holes in the back for your wings. It helps a little.

Not all of them, no. Sometimes they're just...confused, is all. Lonely, even. It's just hard for them to convey those feelings in a way that doesn't seem like an attack to the living. [A slight pause.] The nice ones are wonderful though, aren't they?

Mhmm! [Roji laughs.] I realized it right after I asked the question. They will definitely be a lifesaver.

Confusion is often common with spirits. Being torn from the plane of the living and placed in another plane of existence. It's...sad really, and they can't really communicate easily. It must be frustrating, really. But you are right, the nice ones definately have a way of conveying stories. Very chatty too.

Have you visited any of the shops yet? The library is fantastic, so many different books about all the different worlds here. I think you might enjoy it!

I guess it's because people are accustomed to being afraid of them, even if they really don't mean any harm.

So far I've just been to the grocery store, but I'm going to try to make my way around to all of them soon. It sounds like the library might be my next stop. You've got me interested! [He laughs.]
