Er...hello, Luceti. This is Roji. It's been a weird week... I gotta say it's weirdest way I've spent my birthday in a long time. [Stop stalling, Roji.] But the main reason I'm making this post is because I have a question...

[There's a slight, reluctant pause. He feels so bad about this, pfft.]

Is anyone out there missing their tea set?

Because I have a mountain of them here at home. I can't remember where I took them all from while I was pretending to have a giant tea party during the week... Oh, this is so embarrassing. If you're missing one, just let me know and I can bring it over to you. I've washed them all too, and I don't think any are broken.

I'm so sorry about this.

[And with that, he ends the post, only to grimace the literal mountain of tea sets engulfing his apartment.

[There's a long pause and the sound of teacups and the like being shuffled.]

Thank god. I tend to have such horrible luck with my mugs.

...sorry you had to get dragged into the recent excitement as well, Roji.

And I'm sorry for taking your mug, Mister Giles. But really, I think we all did at one point. [A small laugh.] I guess it wasn't that harmful in the long run though, so that's a plus.

Just our pride. And, let's be honest, that wasn't ever going to hold up long.

[Roji might hear Giles coming, albeit unhurriedly, down the steps.] Especially not for this particular experiment.

...some villagers seem blessedly resistant to any experiment, and I wish I knew how they did it.

There are people who are resistant to them?

[That's a shocker to Roji. He thought everyone got affected.]

Either that, or just frightfully lucky.

An old friend of mine from home was almost never affected.

Really? I'm kinda jealous now.

Believe me, so was I. On the other hand, somehow I always seem to wind up affected.

No matter how humiliating or strange.

I managed to not get affected by one of them, but the rest... [siiigh.]

[It's around this time that he hears footsteps in the hall, so he starts to head for the door to let Giles in.]

[And, sure enough, Giles is standing in the doorway just on the other side. He nods appreciatively at Roji before stepping inside and surveying the arrangement.]

...we really do need to stop meeting like this.

[Roji nods slowly as Giles comes inside. The nod is half in agreement and half in embarrassment.]

Definitely.

[The second Giles lays eyes on his mug, he picks it up out of the lineup and starts polishing it with the hem of his shirt.]

Need any help cleaning up, Roji?

[Roji notices Giles picking up his mug.] Oh, you already found it. Sorry again...for the whole stealing thing.

[He pauses at the question.] Right now I'm trying my best to separate all the sets so people can pick them up easily. If you're willing to help...

[Basically, he'd love some help.]

[Giles takes the hint without further prompting.]

I have some time to spare.

[Roji gives him a grateful smile.] Thank you.

[Then he takes a quick glance around the room.]

I guess you can do what I'm doing here. Just taking sets out of the pile and if they look similar, put them in another pile.
