Hi everyone, Roji here. This is kind of belated, but I'm sorry for weirding you all out during that shift. I've obviously moved back to my apartment, but if I left any messes behind, I'll be happy to come back over and clean it up. It's the least I can do.

And Takashi...thanks for looking out for me despite the strange events. I appreciate it. And I really did have fun on our visit to your world.

[And with that, Roji puts his pen down to think for a little bit. The shift seriously rattled him, hence his reluctance to talk about it. Losing his memories of Muhyo and everyone else back home, along with everything he had been through, didn't sit well with him at all. He spent many nights laying in bed, just thinking about the possibilities of losing his memories and having them replaced with new ones for good.

But what has really been eating at him is the fact that he also enjoyed his "new memories". Hanging out with Takashi and Nyanko-sensei and living with everyone in House 54 were some some really good times to him during the shift. It makes him feel kind of bad for being glad to have his real memories back. He'll miss those times, even if they were fake.

But now that he's finally addressing it with those in House 54, maybe he can lay this issue to rest. There will always be some strange feelings between him and Takashi now, but he has no doubt that they'll still be friends.]

[Now that that's out of the way, it's time to bring up something that he had been pondering about before the shift hit. Yeah, he doesn't really feel like bringing up the shift beyond his private message.]

Hi, Luceti. An entry about the book club reminded me about a question I wanted to ask. What other kinds of clubs do we have here? Is there a list somewhere, maybe? I've been trying to find more ways to occupy myself between school, homework, and Welcome Center stuff.

I'd be especially interested in some kind of magic club, or maybe a paranormal/supernatural club. I know quite a few residents here deal with the supernatural back home, and I always find it interesting to learn the similarities and differences of that subject between worlds. I even wonder if it was anyone else's job to deal with it too...

[He laughs sheepishly.] Looks like I'm starting to ramble, so I'll stop there. But if you have any info to share on clubs, I'd be super grateful. Thanks for your time.

[ Hum hum magic club...oh! Yes. That does remind him, derp. ] A man by the name of Harry Dresden was apparently looking to start up a magic club actually. You should keep an ear and eye out for it when the first meeting starts.

Ihihi.... I'd definitely be down for joining a book club! Reading is more fun when you discuss it with other people~!

....As for the magic and shit- I'll have to pass on that. I'd just be screaming that none of it was real, or that the club doesn't exist! That's not good for the members! [THIS CLUB IS A DEVIL'S PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOF!]

Mhmm! I wonder if the book club would pick up manga too...I haven't found anyone to discuss that with.

[... Oh Battler, you so silly. So silly, that Roji can't help but laugh.] Maybe the club would help you come to terms with the fact that magic does exist, though.

Manga....? Ihihi~! I read that here and there, but I definitely prefer novels. Mystery novels!

[8( don't laugh at his idiocy!!!] Nope, doesn't exist. A witch couldn't convince me, I doubt a club will.

I wonder if there's a cooking club? I know there are cooking classes, but I think it'd be nice being able to get together to exchange recipes and talk about food. Personally, I'd love to try making dishes from other worlds.

[Hey, here's a guy who Roji would probably just remember as the quiet, awkward guy who just kind of kept to himself in the house during that week when nothing was making sense.]

There's just something about having cool pictures to go with the story that I like. But I'm always up for a good mystery novel too.

That would be super fun. I wonder what kinds of recipes we could get out of that. And making a single dish together would be really fun too.

[How could Roji forget Tanuma? After all the memory tampering and whatnot, it'd be pretty hard to.

Regardless, Roji is relieved to hear that Tanuma seems okay with the disturbances.]

You do have a point, but apologizing just seemed like the right thing to do.

...yeah, I get what you mean. That was the first-- [A pause. He's debating exactly what to call what happened here.] change I've been here for, and I'd probably do the same thing.

[He's just glad he wasn't changed into something weird or embarrassing, buuut that'd probably be rude to say.]

I know what you mean! Especially when you read something full of action!

[what is being logical in the umineko world.] It was performed right in front of me many times, I still can't accept it.

[Muttered here is something like "Jeez and now everyone thinks they need a club"]

Not as weird as some of the stuff I've heard about. But hearing about it and experiencing it aren't really the same... [And he wasn't even affected this time.]

Yes, I have. I've been to one or two of your events too. But... [and his embarrassment shows in his voice,] I've never really understood what the group is about.

I bet we could create lots of new dishes too. It's a pity there aren't any local plants or animals around here - as least I don't think so - to experiment with.

Oh come on, how did you not pick that up?! It's to make sure people live worthwhile lives, obviously!

I've seen some weird things show up in the grocery store, but you're right about the local items. I wonder if there's anything interesting growing in the forest?

I wouldn't say you're missing out on much if you aren't affected. [He laughs nervously.] The shifts tend to be pretty embarrassing afterword if you got affected.

[Valentine's Day, why...]

I guess that'd be a good question to ask around. I've seen berries growing out there, but I'm not good at identifying things beyond poison ivy, oak, and the like.

[He's slow, okay?

And with that new-found knowledge, Roji whispers out a slow, "ahhh." When he responds, he sounds pretty impressed.]

So that's what it's about! That's a great club goal, actually.

I'm in the same boat as you. But yes, we should see if anyone around knows about them. Then we could hopefully use them if they're good for eating!

W...well.... if you were told by some witch that your family was magically killed instead of there being a definite culprit, you would be mad- right? Flip the chessboard over, it's not hard to imagine.

I can't accept magic since it means something else entirely for me.
